Musiala Scores After 15 Seconds And Kane Gets A Hat Trick As Bayern Wins 6 1 At Kiel

Musiala Scores After 15 Seconds, Bayern Wins 6-1 at Kiel

Jamal Musiala scores after just 15 seconds of the match against Holstein Kiel

Jamal Musiala opened the scoring in Bayern Munich's 6-1 win over Holstein Kiel in the DFB Pokal on Wednesday, with the German forward netting after just 15 seconds. It was the fastest goal scored in the competition's history, beating the previous record of 19 seconds set by SV Wilhelmshaven's Fabian Egemann in 2013.

Bayern Munich dominated the match from the start and quickly took control of the game.

After Musiala's early goal, Serge Gnabry doubled Bayern's lead in the 14th minute. Robert Lewandowski added a third in the 24th minute, and Musiala made it 4-0 in the 30th minute. Lewandowski scored his second of the night in the 40th minute to make it 5-0 at half-time.

In the second half, Bayern continued to dominate and added a sixth goal through Thomas Müller in the 82nd minute. Kiel managed to pull one back through Fin Bartels in injury time, but it was nothing more than a consolation goal as Bayern secured a comfortable victory and booked its place in the next round of the competition.

The win was Bayern's seventh in a row in all competitions and maintained its unbeaten start to the 2022/23 season. Bayern will next face Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday before hosting Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Harry Kane scores hat trick as Tottenham beats Wolves

Harry Kane scored a hat trick as Tottenham Hotspur beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

Kane opened the scoring in the ninth minute, before doubling Tottenham's lead in the 25th minute. He completed his hat-trick in the 67th minute to put the game beyond Wolves.

Hee-chan Hwang scored a consolation goal for Wolves in the 84th minute, but it was not enough to prevent the Premier League side from suffering a disappointing defeat.

The win was Tottenham's fourth in a row in all competitions, and it kept the club's hopes alive of winning its first major trophy since 2008.

Tottenham will next face Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday before hosting Manchester United in the Carabao Cup semi-finals on January 5.
